Who are we?

We are Cisco, LJ and Matt. Collectively, North Beach Entertainment, LLC. Friends from the community who have an idea to bring fun activities to the Town of North Beach. We aim to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for individuals, groups, and families seeking entertainment, socializing, and relaxation in North Beach.

What is Flynn's?

Flynn’s Arcade & Bar will be the premier entertainment venue offering a fusion of classic and modern arcade games, complemented by a fully stocked bar, light food options, and a lively ambiance in Calvert County. The arcade will feature an array of popular video games, pinball machines, air hockey, pool tables, VR, and other interactive games, appealing to patrons of all ages. Additionally, a small dance floor and stage will provide a space for local musicians to perform.

Your concerns?

Parking: We have 6-9 dedicated off-street parking spots, there are 60+ public spots, and we will post signage to remind patrons not to park in the neighborhood.

Alcoholic Beverages: We will card all patrons prior to service.  Additionally, we will have a large selection of non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails to choose from. We do not want to deal with overly intoxicated patrons, and we do not want to send them out into the town.  We are committed to keeping Flynn’s a family friendly place for all!  All alcoholic beverages will remain inside of the building.

Noise: We will keep all music to inside the building.  We intend to use a decibel meter when we set up our sound system to ensure that we comply with the Towns noise ordinance.

Trash: We will have a dedicated and locked dumpster on site and a cigarette butt can.

We have a vision to provide a great entertainment opportunity in North Beach, while being good neighbors.

Q: Are you family friendly?

A: Yes! We will cater to all ages and strive to keep a family-friendly environment for everyone to enjoy.

Q: Are you associated with Vaughan Cheese?

A: No. However, the Vaughan's are good friends of ours and we frequent their restaurant regularly.

Q: Are you associated with Unauthorized Brewing?

A: No. But we know the owners and look forward to having them in our community!

Q: Are you moving into the old Nice & Fleazy/Elise's Market building?

A: No. We did consider that location early in our plans, but it did not work out. We will be moving into 8900 Chesapeake Ave. in North Beach at the old Metropolitan Appliances building.

Q: I just drove by and Metropolitan Appliances is still in the building. I thought you guys were moving in? What gives?

A: Metropolitan Appliances have been in that space for a long time and are going to need some time to wind their business down and sell their stock. We've agreed to a 3 month timeframe from when we signed our lease for them to turn over the space to us. This also gives us time to apply for permits and licenses. August 1st is when the building will officially be turned over to us, at which point we will rapidly start renovations and moving equipment in.

Q: Are you hiring?

A: Not at the moment. When we are ready to hire, we will post on our social media about any available positions.

Q: Are you going to have XYZ game? When are you going to get XYZ game? Why don't you have XYZ game?

A: We're working on providing an eclectic mix of classic and modern games in a variety of genres. We're always open to suggestions, so send us an e-mail or private message on social media.

Q: When are you going to open?

A: TBD/TBA/ASAP/PDQ. We have some minor-ish renovations to make to our new space and then there are permits and such to consider. We're aiming for Q4 2025. Hopefully earlier.
